Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
None of these can be ruled out so at the likely odds it is worth siding with MARK’S CHOICE to build on his encouraging debut fifth for Gemma Tutty and capitalise on a reduced mark. Giselles Izzy (second choice), Burj Malinka and The Gay Blade can all boast C&D wins and have a say along with in-form Corinthia Knight.
Plenty with chances but it might pay to risk TRANQUILITY who came from well behind to make the frame at Ffos Las, and some trouble in running was no help to her. Lilandra looks sure to go well again and so too the consistent maiden Paco’s Pride.
Preference is for NEWPORT BAY, who looks likely to improve for this extended 5f. Goodeveningmrbond (second choice) would warrant respect if the ground remains softer than good, while Whoop Whoop and Whiteley Way are others for the shortlist.
The ground is probably a negative for hat-trick seeker Hand Over Fist, while chances can be given to horses coming here in a bit of form such as Robindevidastar, Atacanter and Good World. Emily In Paris can go close off this mark, but preference is for RAGIN CAJUN who will be hard to stop if coming here in the same form as at Listowel two weeks ago.
