14:02 Its How We Roll
ITS HOW WE ROLL ran another solid race when filling the runner-up spot at Windsor last time, staying on well to be beaten just a length and a half. That was his third podium finish in a row and he lines up today from an unchanged mark. It’s surely just a matter of time before he gets his head back in front and this looks a good opportunity on his first run for James Evans (formerly trained by Henry Oliver).
14:32 Palace Green
PALACE GREEN had a debut to forget at Newbury 10 days ago, jinking badly leaving the stalls and unseating his rider. Hopefully, he can avoid a repeat of those antics and on paper he certainly has plenty to recommend him. Bought for 120,000 guineas as a yearling, he clearly looks the part and his pedigree features a number of two-year-old winners, too.

15:02 Eton College
ETON COLLEGE made it two wins from his last three starts with a decisive last-to-first success at Ffos Las in August, impressing with his strength at the finish as he stormed home to land the spoils by three quarters of a length. He was arguably value for extra and a further 3lb rise in the weights is unlikely to prove beyond him if he continues in the same rich vein of form.
15:32 Roundabout Silver
ROUNDABOUT SILVER won his penultimate start over this course and distance before running at least as well in defeat when beaten a length and a quarter into third at Epsom last time. That was a particularly good effort as he fared best of those ridden prominently in a well-run race, sticking to his task very well under the circumstances. He can line up from the same mark today and seems sure to go well again back at this venue.
16:02 Goodeveningmrbond
GOODEVENINGMRBOND needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Haydock when last seen, but he’s been given a good break since and it’s far too soon to be writing him off given how dominant he was when winning at Chepstow the time before. That was a significant career best to get off the mark by a length and the manner of that win suggests he remains potentially well treated from a 5lb higher mark.

16:32 Delagate This Lord
DELAGATE THIS LORD is always very tough to beat at his beloved Bath and he was well on top at the finish when gaining his third win of the season here last time. He was produced to lead inside the final furlong and from there he was always doing just enough to win by a length and a half in snug fashion.
This will be tougher from a 5lb higher mark, but he was rated much higher a couple of seasons ago and remains one to be interested in as he seeks a ninth course victory in total.
17:05 Almaty Star
ALMATY STAR made the most of a good opportunity to open his account in a Lingfield maiden a couple of weeks ago, drawing clear late on to win easily by five lengths. He appeared well suited by the drop back to five furlongs on that occasion and there could be more to come from him at the trip.
Making just his second appearance in a handicap today, he’s in the right hands with Roger Varian and should be capable of winning a race like this from a mark of 80.
17:38 Jack Sparowe
JACK SPAROWE resumed his progress with a narrow win back on the all-weather at Kempton last time, only winning by a short head but looking value for extra having come from further back than ideal in a steadily-run race. Still low mileage for a four-year-old, he also won over a mile at this course back in August and this longer trip could eke out more improvement as he seeks a third success of the campaign from just 4lb higher than last time.
