None of these can be ruled out so at the likely odds it is worth siding with MARKS CHOICE to build on his encouraging debut fifth for Gemma Tutty and capitalise on a reduced mark. Giselles Izzy (second choice), Burj Malinka and The Gay Blade can all boast same course and distance (C&D) wins and have a say along with in-form Corinthia Knight.

Ingleby Archie has yet to run a bad race and is proved under these conditions so must enter calculations once more while Kevin Ryan’s Star Mind seems sure to come on for his encouraging debut Carlisle third and have a say too.
But Julie Camacho’s WINGED MESSENGER posted a very good runner-up performance at Chester last time, despite having the worst of the draw, and can go one better now.
15:40 Zarabanda
A case can be made for a few of these, not least Roger Varian’s progressive Sandown scorer Classic Times (second choice) and the thriving pair Anjo Bonita and Fiver Friday. David O’Meara’s filly ZARABANDA is on a roll too though and taken to quickly resume winning ways on the back of her excellent Leicester second.
16:10 Botanical (NAP)
Judged on his strong novice form, BOTANICAL (NAP) still looks nicely treated off 87 and is well worth another chance. Ascot didn’t pan out favourably and he now returns to the scene of his July success. Mr Professor, who holds good claims under a penalty, is feared most ahead of Cockalorum who ties in with that rival on August course running.
16:40 Arkenstaar
Preference is for ARKENSTAAR, who has a progressive record at Hamilton and returns here off an attractive mark. Mac Ailey, despite going back up in grade, is feared most. Dream Final may be capable of progress now handicapping.

17:10 Ecclesiastical
ECCLESIASTICAL is enjoying an excellent season and bagged his third success in 5f Thirsk handicap (on soft ground) in August; posted a respectable fifth of nine at Wolverhampton (5f) 23 days ago so he’s shortlisted in a refitted tongue-strap.
17:45 Lunacy
Three of the nine runners won at the two-day fixture here last week and it is LUNACY who is taken to come out on top this time. He powered clear in the closing stages on that occasion and can make light of his penalty. Ebony Maw shaped with more promise last time and can provide the biggest threat. Ask Peter may be best of the rest.
