Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:55 Curragh – Dagoda (Irish Sun)

Maybe the second London bus will come trundling around the corner for DAGODA after her course maiden win. The McGuinness pair, No More Porter and Half Nutz are also big players along with Loingseoir.

14:25 Ayr – Wobwobwob (Daily Record)

This should be run at a good pace with several in the field who like to lead. Punchbowl Flyer is quite intriguing from a draw on the stand rail that has proved favourable in years gone by but WOBWOBWOB was perfectly happy back over 6f in the Great St Wilfrid when leading home his group and his stamina for further will be an advantage. Rathbone is in peak form after beating Jump The Gun at Doncaster but for whatever reason he has yet to show his best side at this meeting, whereas Jump The Gun (second choice) did well despite being hampered in this race last year. Gulliver impressed on the AW recently and would be anything but a surprise winner, while Danzan, Bernardo O’Reilly and Aplomb can also be involved. Bergerac, Admiral D and Lucky Man have cases to be made despite their rather quiet seasons, but Call Me Ginger needs to bounce back from a minor show in the Portland.

15:35 Ayr – Aleezdancer (Racing Post)

It is a measure of Orazio’s reputation that he has been the ante-post favourite for this race despite defeats in top sprint handicaps the last twice. The ground should be fine for him today and he can run well, while the usual suspects Mr Wagyu (second choice), Summerghand, Albasheer and Bielsa can all feature. If Rohaan is to revive it’s likely to be over this trip in a well-run race but this may well be the day for ALEEZDANCER to strut his stuff. Drawn on the wrong side in the Stewards’ Cup, he will relish the recent rain and his trainer, who has won this race five times, has done well to get him here just 2lb higher than for his emphatic Doncaster win in the spring. Probe and Paws For Thought can go well of those at bigger odds.

16:25 Newbury – Razeyna (The Times)

Returned to the scene of her useful debut win, RAZEYNA could well take advantage of a workable mark in second-time blinkers. Captain Cuddles (second choice) and Pearle D’Or are solid contestants who look likely to go well again, while Pumalin Park retains potential, Ben Hamrash is an improving sort and Embrace is quite interesting back over 7f.
