NAP of the Day: Today’s NAPs Table of horse racing tips across the UK & Ireland

Spillane’s Tower spearheads the Irish challenge in a wide-open renewal of the King George VI Chase (14:30) at Kempton as Banbridge, Envoi Allen and Corbetts Cross also make the trip, although last year’s winner Hewick is absent. The home charge comprises 2022 scorer Bravemansgame, Grey Dawning, L’Homme Presse and The Real Whacker, while French trio General En Chef, Il Est Francais and Juntos Ganamos add international intrigue.

The card also features the long-awaited return of Constitution Hill in the Christmas Hurdle (13:55) but the equine freak faces a serious challenge as dual Cheltenham Festival winner Lossiemouth is in opposition. Burdett Road and Lump Sum complete the field. There is further Grade 1 action courtesy of the Kauto Star Novices’ Chase (13:30) which sees The Jukebox Man bid to make it two from two over fences.

Stablemates Better Days Ahead and Croke Park face off in the feature at Leopardstown, the Grade 1 Racing Post Long Distance Novice Chase (14:20). Meanwhile, Triumph prospect Willy De Houelle tries to get off the mark for Willie Mullins in the Grade 2 O’Driscolls Irish Whiskey Juvenile Hurdle (13:10).

There is also a Grade 1 at Aintree as Potters Charm attempts to enhance his credentials in the Formby Novices’ Hurdle (13:05), the Grade 2 Lyons Of Limerick Jaguar Land Rover Novice Hurdle (13:33) tops the bill at Limerick, while Cheltenham Festival winner Sine Nomine is in the mix for the Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase (13:35) at Wetherby.

A bumper day of National Hunt action also features meetings at Down Royal, Fontwell, Market Rasen, Sedgefield and Wincanton. Wolverhampton’s all-weather fixture rounds off proceedings.
