Jessica Harrington is firing quite a few darts at the board here with two of her three runners in particular Sounds Of Heaven and VILLAGE VOICE holding exceptional form claims. Of the pair, despite falling 5lb short on offical ratings of her stable companion, preference is for the latter, a Group 3 second on her recent visit to Gowran Park and for whom soft ground seems to be the key. American Sonja, Pink Carnation and Empress Of Beauty must also be strongly considered.
The Bear Trap has a lot going for him here. Well suited by the race conditions, his recent Down Royal second earned him a 5lb hike in the ratings to a mark which, if he proves equal to here, his rivals will have to step up a few notches to match him. One that could potentially do so is the unexposed ADMIRAL MAE who showed enough on debut (dwelt start and ran into traffic problems) to suggest he could be troublesome here. Normal improvement from the run could see him turn the tables on Tartaraghan, but a bigger threat could come from Vangelis.
A wide-open affair and likely to be a tricky heat, but MISS MCHENRY (nap) went into the notebook when fifth on her handicap debut at Navan and left the impression she should have a win in her over the coming weeks. Rhythm King did not have the run of the race at Galway and is put forward as the main danger, whilst Rathbranchchurch and Shawaamekh should also be in the shake up.
ARTEMIS JONES failed to fire on her handicap debut but she was much more professional when fifth on her second attempt and considering she won her maiden on yielding ground, she should be OK on that front. Dangers are plentiful and the recent Gowran winner Hello Power is interesting for the new training combination of Darren Bunyan and Ger O’Leary, whilst All Lies Ahead should also be bang there.
No stars here but interesting, especially with Billy Lee riding Muhaarar’s Girl, he rode Spanish Rose on her pleasing debut. Both of these trainers had winners at Irish Champions Festival. RATTLETHEONIONBAG could be well-named now.
This is hard to assess. GLAMOROUSLY beat Sanshiro at Navan. It would be foolish to rule out either of the O’Brien brothers’ runners, Gloucester more obvious on paper than Gold Coast Galleon.

18:25 – Matter Of Fact
Mansa Musa should win on form but these conditions raise doubts. A couple of No Nay Nevers thus assume interest, MATTER OF FACT and Edwardian.
18:55 – Cavallo Pazzo
The market can hardly get it badly wrong twice so CAVALLO PAZZO must be well-treated. Universally is a threat. Mogwli must be feared.
