Doncaster 13:50 – Heritage House
Things finally clicked into place for Heritage House at Leicester 22 days ago with the first-time tongue tie seeming to work wonders. She steps upto 6f now which looks as if it’s definitely going to suit and slightly easier conditions hold no fears.
Doncaster 14:25 – Johannes Brahms
Johannes Brahms did really well when showing plenty of early speed in the Windsor Castle at the Royal meeting and then put up a superb performance in the Gimcrack Stakes at York when only finding Lakeforest too good. He has to go well, but will be a short price. If you want one at an each way price then Kodiak Thriller saw far too much daylight on the outside in a very hot race at Ascot last time. He now gets a hold-up rider in Jamie Spencer that could see him flash home and get a slice of the action.

Doncaster 15:00 – Hard to Resist
At a vital stage at Goodwood, Hard to Resist was checked in her run, which surely can’t have helped under very heavy conditions where it’s nearly impossible to get going again. She did manage to rattle through the line strongly in third, and the extra furlong this time is going to suit, She gets her regular rider Tom Marquand back on top and that’s an added plus.
Doncaster 15:35 – Crack of Light
Crack of Light has been running really well over 10 furlongs all the way up to the extended 1m 4f, looking as if she’s only going to benefit from today’s 1m 6f trip. Stamina looks her main attribute and provided they can get her to switch off in mid division, she should rattle home over this longer distance.
