Four-time course winner, including twice over C&D this year.
16:05 Worcester – Chives (Racing Post)
Returning from more than a year out when winning narrowly over 2m4f here (good) last October but no good afterwards on either side of a 120-day break; difficult to know what to expect now returning from another layoff, but he’s handicapped to win.
19:05 Kelso – Jimmy Rabbitte (Morning Star)
Placed all four starts this season, including seconds over C&D (good to soft) in May and at Perth (3m, good) last month; recent 2lb rise doesn’t help but he’s likely to be right in the thick of things again.
14:50 Leicester – Autumn Rose (Daily Star)
Well-bred filly but picked up cheaply at the sales in July on the back of one poor run in Ireland; stuck to her task well when second of nine in a Chester novice (7f, good to soft) ten days ago; more to come now handicapping at a low level.
