Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
The filly CAIUS CHORISTER did very well to finish sixth in the Ebor having suffered trouble in running and she remains unexposed at the trip. She is the selection ahead of the improving 4yo Aztec Empire, who was also unlucky at York last month. Mr Curiosity can perhaps have his York fourth upgraded and he is next on the list, with Nolton Cross another each-way possible.
Improving GALLANT LION could well take another step up in grade in his stride and complete a five-timer. Hat-trick seeker Overactive is second choice, ahead of Alsakib who remains unexposed. Victory Dance has the ability to perform well off top weight, provided he stays.
An intriguing race in which the four-year-old Buckaroo sets a decent standard although more rain would help. Ryan Moore keeps faith with Victoria Road and he should come on plenty for his run at Deauville. The selection is LORD MASSUSUS after his decisive win in last month’s Desmond Stakes here when they got the tactics right and he can follow up.
Plenty of these with chances as expected. Nusret comes here fresh after winning at the Curragh in June. Dartan could not be coming here in better form after two wins last week at Bellewstown. Comfort Zone is intriguing having not run since winning over flights in January. The one to be on could well be MERLIN GIANT, not seen since disappointing in the Galway Hurdle but with every indication that he could be well handicapped.
