13:45 – Kitty Rose

Kitty Rose impressed on her debut at Naas and her trainer Natalia Lupini has been firing in winners all season. Her win over Tannola was really impressive and I just prefer her to Content, although I am fearful of Aidan O’Brien’s runner.

14:15 – Deepone (each-way)

I’m with Deepone as an each-way shout. He was done for tactical speed last time out in a listed race at Tipperary but a proper test over a mile on quick ground will suit him. Diego Velazquez may live up to the hype and bolt up. He could be a superstar but I don’t find horses with his profile – and price – easy to back.

14:45 – Tahiyra

It’s impossible to oppose Tahiyra. Her win at Ascot was on quick ground, so she should be fine at Leopardstown on Saturday. She bounced back from her 1,000 Guineas defeat at Newmarket by winning the Irish 1,000 Guineas and a messy Coronation Stakes at Ascot. She’s the one to beat as she just gets the job done.

15:20 – King Of Steel

King Of Steel will be suited by the 1m2f trip and I’m very keen on him. He travelled really well at Ascot last time out but he just didn’t stay, so the drop back in trip will be ideal and he can show some improvement. Kevin Stott should be able to position him wherever he wants in the race and he can make his move when the time is right.

15:55 – Buckaroo

Buckaroo could have the class to overcome time off the track and a shorter-than-ideal trip. This could be about putting an edge in him for an autumn campaign rather than being his main target and I am slightly concerned about his draw in stall one. However, I don’t want to be against him.

16:30 – Al Aasy

Al Aasy has strung two solid wins together and there should be a decent pace set for him. The race should set up nicely for him and Jim Crowley can make a move late on. He looked good when beating El Drama at Haydock and he just got the job done, which was a decent win. This is his level and he can win again.

17:05 – Nusret

Nusret has decent form on good ground and very much caught the eye with his last win at the Curragh, for which he’s only up 2lbs. The conditions will be ideal for him and that last win will have set him up perfectly for this. It’s no surprise that Joseph O’Brien has kept him back for this handicap.

17:40 – Broadhurst

Broadhurst was unlucky not to win last time out at Naas. He runs off the same mark again and first-time cheekpieces will help. He has to be the one to beat.
