It’s Irish Champions Festival weekend and Paddy’s not going to let it pass without gate-crashing the party.
There’s a mega eight-race card on Saturday at Leopardstown that features the Irish Champion Stakes and to be fair to the big man, he’s dug deep to sponsor the 1m 4f Group 3 Paddy Power Stakes at 4.30pm.
To celebrate, Paddy’s also giving away a FREE BET for online and mobile customers on ANY race at Leopardstown on Saturday so we’d thought we’d get the best pundits, tipsters and all-round best guessers to give you a steer on the day’s bet bets.
So the choice is yours as Ruby Walsh, Rory Delargy, Matt Chapman, Mick Fitzgerald have a go for one of the best day’s racing for the Irish Flat Racing season.

Ruby Walsh tips, Leopardstown Saturday
1.45pm – Kitty Rose did well to beat Tannola on debut and she’s the one for me.
2.15pm – Diego Velazquez was impressive on debut and can go forward from a decent draw.
2.45pm – Tahiyra did well to win the Irish 1,000 Guineas and a messy Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. The one to beat.
3.20pm – Onesto has Frankie Dettori on board and is a great each-way bet.
3.55pm – Lord Massusus will be fine on the quick ground and he’s the each-way value in the race.
4.30pm – Adelaide River has very solid form and is the most likely winner.
5.05pm – Nusret was good at The Curragh and he’ll be a better Flat horse than he was over hurdles.
5.40pm – Kayhana didn’t quite get home last time over a mile so this drop in trip to 7f will help. An each-way chance.
3.55pm – Buckaroo has some strong form in the book and is consistent. The lightly-raced course and distance winner can go close for Joseph O’Brien.
Rory Delargy tips, Leopardstown Saturday
1.45pm – Kitty Rose impressed on debut and her trainer has been firing in winners all season.
2.15pm – Deepone (each-way) was done for tactical speed last time but a proper test over a mile on quick ground will suit.
2.45pm – It’s impossible to oppose Tahiyra. Her win at Ascot was on quick ground, so she should be fine today.
3.20pm – King Of Steel will be suited by the 1m 2f trip. I’m very keen on him.
3.55pm – Buckaroo could have the class to overcome time off the track and a shorter-than-ideal trip.
4.30pm – Al Aasy has strung two solid wins together and there should be a decent pace set for him.
5.05pm – Nusret has good form on good ground and very much caught the eye with his last win, for which he’s only up 2lbs.
5.40pm – Broadhurst was unlucky not to win last time. He runs off the same mark again and first-time cheekpieces will help.
Matt Chapman tips, Leopardstown Saturday
2.45pm – Dermot Weld runs his two former Irish 1,000 Guineas winners in Tahiyra and Homeless Songs but it’s Meditate (each-way) I’m giving another chance to for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore.
3.20pm – I won’t be giving up on defending champion Luxembourg.
