14:35 Haydock – Eeh Bah Gum (Liverpool Echo)
Won this last year when trained by Kevin Ryan and he scored on his stable debut at Lingfield (5f, good to firm) in July; fair fourth next time but well beaten at Windsor since and has to leave that run well behind.
14:45 Newcastle – Elshaameq (Racing Post)
Two best efforts have come on AW, namely second in C&D novice last autumn and fourth of 13 in 1m Southwell handicap in June; never a serious threat over 1m2f at Newbury in July but may fare better back on AW after 64 days off.
17:20 Ascot – De Bruyne (Morning Star)
Won a Newcastle novice (6f, AW) late last year and has made the frame in his last three starts in turf handicaps, including when a close fourth of 12 at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) three weeks ago; extra furlong should be within range and frame material again.
19:20 Kilbeggan – Longview Lady (Cambridge Evening News)
Won the other division of the Redcar handicap landed by Oso Rapido ten days ago, in an identical time, having previously fared best of the far-side group in the Silver Trophy over C&D; holds decent claims again upped 5lb.
