13:45 – Kitty Rose

Kitty Rose did well to beat Tannola, who had made a pleasing debut at Galway behind Purple Lily, first time up. The weather has been beautiful this week and it’ll be dry on Saturday. You definitely want something that has shown form on at least good ground, preferably a bit better – and Kitty Rose has done that.

14:15 – Diego Velazquez

Diego Velazquez looks the one to beat and he has a decent draw in at stall two. The form of his maiden win hasn’t been brilliant but he was impressive. Atlantic Coast could be a threat but I like the look of Deepone to chase Diego Velazquez home on quicker ground.

14:45 – Tahiyra

The defeat in the Newmarket 1,000 Guineas was the making of Tahiyra. She learnt a lot in defeat that day and did well to get out of a bad spot in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. It was a messy Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot too so she’s had to dig in for her last two wins. She’s the one to beat.

15:20 – Onesto (each-way)

A lot of these horses have something to prove and this is a deep race. I have doubts over Auguste Rodin, King of Steel and Alflaila so I’m with Onesto for Fabrice Chappet and Frankie Dettori. He ran well behind Inspiral at Deauville over a mile on his reappearance run and the Irish Champion Stakes has been his target. He was runner-up last year and having Frankie Dettori on board is also a boost.

15:55 – Lord Massusus (each-way)

Lord Massusus will be fine on the quick ground and he’s the each-way value in the race. I have doubts over whether Buckaroo wants further and Victoria Road is a big threat and could be the most likely winner. However, I can’t get away from Lord Massusus as the each-way value pick. He’ll be ridden from the back and make his move late on.

16:30 – Adelaide River

Adelaide River has very solid form and is the most likely winner. He’s dropping down in grade and his run in France behind Feed The Flame at Longchamp is even stronger than his Curragh form when second behind Auguste Rodin.

17:05 – Nusret

Nusret was good at The Curragh and he’ll be a better Flat horse than he was over hurdles. Willie Mullins has Jackfinbar in this race and he’s booked Frankie Dettori to ride. I wasn’t completely sold on his last run at York. Keep an eye on him, but I’m with Nusret.

17:40 – Kayhana (each-way)

Kayhana didn’t quite get home last time over a mile at the Curragh, so this drop in trip to 7f will help. She has an each-way chance.
