17:45 – Beyond Borders

Beyond Borders has looked a little weak in the closing stages, especially on the heavy ground last time at Haydock. Prior to that he very nearly got away with the conditions at Hamilton, and now switches to the all-weather surface for the very first time, which will help his running style. He’s going to be overlooked in the market.

18:15 – Kit Gabriel

Kit Gabriel was only having his first try for the new stable last time on the turf at Pontefract and put up a huge performance when fourth of 11 when an unconsidered 40/1 shot. He now switches back onto a surface that clearly suits, and we get a red-hot rider in Dylan Browne McMonagle doing te steering. He looks nicely weighted on a perch of just 76 in official ratings.

18:45 – Noodle Mission (Each-Way)

Noodle Mission looks massively overpriced at double digit odds and so rates an each-way play. He’s back at Wolverhampton where he has had a perfect two from two in the 2023 season. Admittedly he has climbed the ladder from a ratings perspective, but we can forgive him a couple of bad efforts on the turf. He is clearly at his best on the synthetic surface.

19:15 – Lir Speciale

Surprisingly, Lir Speciale has never been stretched out over this one mile trip but when you look back at his 7f successes, he’s surely going to appreciate the added furlong. He is undoubtedly a classy performer and with an inside starting position in box two, he’s going to save all the ground possible to help his cause.

19:45 – Kingori

Kingori is quite a big, leggy, weak, individual and has been found out on the turf. Now switching to tonight’s a synthetic surface will help his free-wheeling nature. There is every reason from a pedigree point of view that this won’t be the last time we see him on this type of surface.

20:15 – Glenister

Glenister did us a favour last week at Newcastle at a very nice price and there’s no reason to expect that he won’t go well around this venue either. He was much better than the half-length margin he won by then. Belgoprince will be very popular in the market and make the price for us as he bolted up at Epsom last time. However, he is not as good on the all-weather surface.

20:45 – Prisoner’s Dilemma

Prisoner’s Dilemma has found himself slipping down to a very attractive looking rating of 91. Having previously been competitive off a triple- digit rating, he’s also drawn the inside stall one position on the paint so is guaranteed a smooth passage into the straight. The visor goes on for added focus. With a big pot on offer, the Irish challenge arrives in tip-top form.
