Haydock 14:00 – Bollin Margaret
1.5 points each way
Bollin Margaret gets in effectively 3lbs well in after winning well last time out and turned out quickly again before going up in the weights. He’s won three times already this year and he has ran with credit up in class too. He looks as if the step back up in trip will be sure to suit after winning over slightly shorter last time out.
Salisbury 15:40 – Symbology
1.5 points each way
We’re happy to take Symbology each way due to the competitive nature of the race. Symbology ran a very good third in the Lowther Stakes, a race in which the form has been working out quite nicely. He has a good draw today and more progress can be expected. Rossa Ryan is booked for the ride, which is another positive and he should be going very close.
Salisbury 16:15 – Al Simmo
1.5 points each way
Al Simmo probably found Group 3 company a little bit much last time out but she drops backs in class. She impressed on her seasonal debut when only narrowly beaten after being in a position where she looked to have the race won. She looks a bit overpriced in this company with conditions to suit.
Wolverhampton 17:45 – Crocus Time
1.5 points each way
A drop back to six furlongs for Crocus Time looks a positive as she appeared not to get the seven furlongs last time. She has previously run well to be placed third in three races over six furlongs and a race over seven furlongs, where she was third of five having led into the final furlong and not just staying. She has a decent draw and can make the most of dropping back to a Class 4.
Wolverhampton 18:15 – International Girl
1.5 points each way
International Girl is yet to win this season but finished a good runner up a couple of times, including at Pontefract last month. She didn’t see out the seven furlongs at York last time but returns to six furlongs and is now on her last winning mark of 80. She ran well on her only previous attempt on the all-weather track, so she should go very well.
Wolverhampton 18:45 – Royal Dream
1.5 points each way
Royal Dream is a winner over course and distance, and he has strong form. He had no luck in running last time out and is worth giving another chance from 5lb higher than his winning mark today. He’s a progressive type who is worth keeping on side.
Wolverhampton 19:45 – Have Secret
1.5 points each way
Have Secret has posted some decent efforts this season after returning from a break and that includes good performances in much better races than this. He’s been improving with each run and even though the bare form may show a seventh-placed finish last time out, that was in a deep Class 2 at York. If able to find his best form here on the all weather, he could have too much for most of these.
