14:15 Bath Regal Envoy – Morning Star

Two course wins last year when trained by Clive Cox; began this season in good order, including a close second behind Connie’s Rose over same course and distance (C&D) in June (4lb better off with that rival today); two modest efforts in July and August (yard quiet at the time) but there was more promise at Beverley on Saturday when he wasn’t beaten far despite running into plenty of traffic in the straight (visored first time, retained); contender.

17:25 Lingfield Villalobos – Racing Post

In the hope he can get into a good rhythm out in front and use his stamina late, VILLALOBOS is taken to make it 3-7 here. Star Of Epsom, who already has a trio of course wins to her name and stays further, is second choice. King Of The Dance is a speculative third pick.

17:30 Southwell Sir Rodneyredblood – Liverpool Echo

Prolific all weather scorer but most of the wins have come on Polytrack; his last success was off 2lb lower at Kempton (6f) in March, SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD has the potential and could impress.

19:00 Kempton Bloomwithgrace – attheraces.com

Seven-race maiden who has proved largely consistent and whose latest effort suggests this drop back in distance will suit; BLOOMWITHGRACE was a creditable second at Goodwood on last 1m attempt and, though rather exposed, has a fighting chance on the figures.
