Most of his turf form is on good/faster; good second to Lhebayeb at Bath two weeks ago; sole run at Goodwood resulted in a success in this race in 2021; enters calculations granted suitable ground.

Won well off just 2lb lower over C&D (good to soft) in August 2022 then finished second in the Cesarewitch; soft ground may explain his substandard turf form this year; interesting granted a suitable surface.

15:35 Bangor-on-Dee – The Big Jetaway

Has made all for his last three wins, two handicap chases (by 16l and 1l) and last time a 2m3f novice hurdle here when odds-on; 5lb higher than for his final chase win but looks sure to go well again.

18:00 Ripon – Strong Johnson

Won the other division of the Redcar handicap landed by Oso Rapido ten days ago, in an identical time, having previously fared best of the far-side group in the Silver Trophy over C&D; holds decent claims again upped 5lb.
