13:35 – Mount Olympus
MOUNT OLYMPUS has thrived since joining Alan King, making a winning start for the yard in straightforward fashion at Kempton in May but was found wanting at the business end upped to a mile and three quarters at Southwell on his next start. He displayed a better attitude back down in trip when resuming winning ways at Leicester last time, comfortably beating a next-time-out winner, and a subsequent 7 lb rise may not be enough to prevent him following up. Hat-trick seeking Lhebayeb rates the obvious danger, although in-form pair Meleri and Eagle One need factoring in, too.
14:10 – Caviar Heights
This is quite a valuable maiden, designed for potential stayers, and the promising CAVIAR HEIGHTS is taken to build on previous promise and open his account. He took a big step forward from his debut when beaten a short head by an above-average newcomer at Sandown last month, just edged out in the closing stages, and he sets a good standard on form on that effort, while he is open to further improvement. Honest Desire and Arch Legend are interesting newcomers, while Louis Quatorze made an encouraging start at Deauville and could kick on now.
14:45 – Pink Satin
PINK SATIN has a smart pedigree and she looked a good prospect when making a winning debut at Windsor in June, showing encouraging speed for one bred to stay further. She attracted plenty of support after seven weeks off on her nursery debut back at Windsor last month, not necessarily improving, but still showing plenty to be positive about, staying on to take second behind the well-ridden winner. There should be even more to come from her and she makes plenty of appeal from the same mark. Say Hello is feared most ahead of Je Ne Sais Quoi.
15:20 – Pons Aelius
The Johnston’s have saddled the winner of this handicap three times since 2018 and PONS AELIUS is taken to enhance that record. The drop back to a mile and three quarters counted against him at Sandown last time and he is appealing back at the scene and over the same course and distance of his latest success in June off just a 2 lb lower mark. The form of Novel Legend’s latest effort at Newbury has been well and truly boosted since, and he is a much-respected main danger.

15:55 – Glamorous Breeze
GLAMOROUS BREEZE has been in excellent form this season, winning a couple of five-furlong handicaps at Windsor and ran just as well in defeat at Ascot last time. She was very free on that occasion, but this faster five furlongs will be very much in her favour, and this race doesn’t look as deep. Some Nightmare can shrug off a lesser run in a Racing League handicap last time now back in a less-competitive scenario and is feared most.
16:30 – King Lear
Some promising sorts on show here and KING LEAR is taken to come out on top. He is bred in the purple – by Galileo out of a multiple Group 1 winner – and he showed plenty of ability in a strong race at Newmarket on debut. He built on that promise as expected when opening his account with plenty to spare at Nottingham last month, travelling well and displaying a smart turn of foot to settle matters. He looks a good prospect and is taken to win again before having his sights raised further. Believe In Stars and Lope de Light are feared most.
17:05 – Aplomb
APLOMB caught the eye on his return from 12 weeks off at Redcar last month, finishing well to finish second having still been second with around 100 yards to go. He hasn’t won for almost three years but he is starting to look well handicapped and will be a big player if building on that effort. Mister Bluebird and Coco Bear head the list of dangers
