14:05 Beverley Fulfilled
14:25 Sandown Queen For You

13:50 Sandown – Tough Enough

Tough Enough has been a bit of a win machine lately and that run may well continue now he goes up in grade again. He travels so strongly in his races that he could easily have more to offer if he gets a stronger pace to run at, our rider Rossa Ryan is hot as well.

14:05 Beverley – Fulfilled

With question marks over a good few that require a serious bounce back to past glories, Fulfilled is in the form of his life at present after another career best win at Windsor. This ought to be run at a decent tempo and his hold up tactics will be perfect in this small field.

 

14:25 Sandown – Queen For You

Queen For You hasn’t progressed as expected after a very good debut at Ascot. She probably was unlucky at York on her second try and didn’t seem to stay over at 10f at that venue last time, even if she was held up and attacked the leaders on the wrong side of the track.

We know plenty about most of these and Queen For You has a little wriggle room to improve again as a three-year-old for the Gosden stable.

14:40 Beverley – Apollo One

Apollo One has been a model of consistency this season and doesn’t lack any fight in a finish, despite being in the runner-up spot the last three times. It was a super effort at Goodwood in the Stewards Cup and it’s only his second try down at the minimum 5f trip. He could prove tough to get past this time if he gets loose on the lead.

15:00 Sandown – Stay Well

Stay Well is proving tricky to catch right, but surely is sitting on a big effort if they can get him to settle early and they get jockey Oisín Murphy up to see if he can work his magic and get him into a rhythm.

He’s going to need a bit of pace for it to work out and at least we have a big field so there should be competition up front to set the pace.

15:20 Chester – Lone Eagle

Lone Eagle has gone missing a bit recently and the Beckett team return to Chester hoping for a return to the form he showed  here in the Ormonde Stakes behind Hamish.

Military Order hasn’t been seen since his no show in the Epsom Derby and the Appleby yard’s form is very suspect especially for a short-price fav.

15:38 Sandown – Devils Point

Devils Point wasn’t cheap at 475,000 guineas as a yearling and the signs are he’s blessed with a good bit of natural talent. His debut here was full of promise and he made no mistake at Ffos Las the second time out, despite being keen. The hope is he’s improved mentally and he can serve it up to some of the big names in this contest.
