16:15 The Lovely Man
A very hot maiden hurdle by the standards of Wexford in September. Boher Road can throw in the odd stinker but is capable at his best, while Good Heavens represents the class of the contest by some margin. The best hurdles form on show is the very narrow defeat suffered by THE LOVELY MAN(nap) at Naas in March and he will take beating. Rosalys is probably the most intriguing runner.
16:50 No Show
The handicap hurdle at Tramore last month won by Prince Of Air probably holds the key to this. There should be nothing between Philip Rothwell’s charge and the Shark Hanlon pair Mullins Cross and Leroy Leroy. However, fourth home that day NO SHOW ran a fair race on just his second handicap and might improve enough to land this.
17:20 The Mass Path
Competitive race. Top-weight Our Bobby should be thereabouts, while there could be a lot more to come from the likes of Rockview Roman and Brianna Lily. Charles Byrnes has been in the limelight and the winner’s enclosure this week, and the latter could well continue here with recent Sligo runner-up THE MASS PATH, who looks on a reasonable mark
17:55 Coole Cherry
Though she has been a beaten fav’ a number of times, including when she made mistakes on hurdling debut at Sligo last time, COOLE CHERRY is given another chance with the step-up to this trip likely to suit. The selection’s stablemate Coastguard Lady is held by Iriskana on Tramore running last time. Silent Approach might be flattered by her 3rd in a Listed race but is a player if back to her best.
18:25 Joyeux Machin
There might not be much to choose between the three previous winners here, although already Lucky Zebo looks a much better chaser than hurdler and might just have the edge on Uncle Phil and I A Connect. The selection is JOYEUX MACHIN, the best of these over hurdles who was unlucky on his chase debut here and can be forgiven a below par effort at Galway.

18:55 Downtown Queen
Having finished a close runner-up to an in-form rival over C&D on handicap chase debut, DOWNTOWN QUEEN should be able to go one better off 4lb higher. Rebel Waltz and Robyndeglory could be the ones to give her most to do
19:25 Chelseas Friend
Rudy Catrail ran a cracker at Kilbeggan last week but had a tough race. Ocean Legacy, Courting Vickie and Room To Roam have been running well lately and can be involved but preference is for CHELSEAS FRIEND. She ran well enough at Tramore last time and will be suited by better ground
