14:00 – Character Testing

CHARACTER TESTING came within a short-head of making a winning start at Kempton 16 days ago and with that early zip a definite plus at this speed-favouring venue, he’ll take some stopping. The step up to 7f is sure to suit Gone Rogue and he’s the obvious threat, with Arantes Nascimento sure to know more this time.

14:30 – Zaphea

ZAPHEA has upped her game on her last 2 starts, finishing placed at Bath and Beverley and on that evidence, she can win a nursery. Swiftly is a danger at the foot of the weights, with Lady Showcasing another to consider.

15:00 – Love De Vega

LOVE DE VEGA won over 6f at Hamilton last time but he’s equally as effective at 7f and can strike again under Ben Curtis. On A Session returns to the scene of his win in April and might give the selection most to do ahead of Judgment Call.

    15:30 – Baez

    Several of these arrive in top form but BAEZ proved better than ever when scoring at York last month and gets the vote. Stable companion Two Auld Pals is feared most.

      16:00 – How Bizarre

      HOW BIZARRE really has rediscovered the winning habit this summer and might be able to defy the handicapper again under Tudhope. Callum Rodriguez usually gets a good tune out of Monhammer and Linda Perratt’s 5-y-o is second choice ahead of Sparkle In His Eye and Coaxing.

      16:30 – Yeeeaah

      YEEEAAH can probably be given the benefit of the doubt for last time after likely going off too hard in refitted blinkers (discarded now). Prior to that he’d been shaping as if he could win for the Tristan Davidson yard and he’s given another chance. Chinese Spirit, the mount of Callum Rodriguez, and Makalu, who will appreciate the drop back to 1m, head the dangers.
