Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:25 Catterick – Jamil (The Sun)

There are several in-form contenders to consider, as well as Irish challenger Sefton Warrior and The Dancing Poet who is seeking to win this race for the third consecutive season. Top of the list is JAMIL, who likes it here and has run well over C&D on his last three starts. A La Francaise is second choice but Let Her Loose and Just Hiss are also strong contenders on the back of recent wins.

15:15 Brighton – Miss Sligo (Daily Mail)

Tony Carroll has two interesting contenders in Global Style, who went close in his bid for a course double last time, and Send In The Clouds, who has finished runner-up in his last two starts. Angel On High should go well from the front, while It’s How We Roll has claims if this sets up for his closing style. However, it might be worth siding with MISS SLIGO, who won over this trip at Chepstow last month and went down fighting in a clear second over 1m2f at Leicester last Sunday.

16:55 Brighton – Spanish Mane (The Guardian)

Richard Hannon’s 3yo Optiva Star made his breakthrough in a C&D handicap 12 days ago and is respected along with Media Guest, who was first past the post at Chelmsford last month and a clear second at Leicester last time. However, top of the list is the admirable 8yo SPANISH MANE, who has scored at Lingfield in two of her last three runs and was as good as ever with her brave win last time.

18:35 Bangor – Stonific (Racing Post)

This is quite competitive and a strong gallop seems assured with Max Of Stars unlikely to be hanging about. She should remain on the scene but a chance is taken on STONIFIC, who might be best caught fresh. Choirmaster is preferred of the remainder.
