14:00 – Perfect Judgement

Those racing stands’ side here last weekend appeared less favoured but nonetheless the vote goes to the highly-drawn PERFECT JUDGEMENT on the back of a very promising Naas debut effort. Barley Cove finished behind the selection at Naas but had been slowly away and has a talented claimer booked so could well get closer. Megarry and Bergamasco are others to consider, most interesting of the newcomers look to be Ocean Bliss and Liamo.

14:30 – Jakajaro

Carnegie Hall will appreciate the step up in trip and the maiden form of West Of Wichita is very solid. Despite his wanderings at Galway last time, JAKAJARO could not have been more impressive when winning here last time and being 15lb higher might not stop him.

15:00 – Blairmayne

Trappy handicap and plenty have chances. Top-weight Big Gossey is likely to go well, while good cases can be made for Heavenly Power, stable companion Jon Riggens and Red Letter Bray. Natalia Lupini has a strong hand here though. Cool Running is still unexposed and has his chance, but the forecast rain will be right up the street of his admirable stablemate BLAIRMAYNE and he can take the spoils.

 

15:30 – Storm Miami (NAP)

Cases can be made for most of these. Any rain is likely to count against Alabama and recent Cork winner Asean. Less exposed types such as G’Day Mate could go well, while trip and ground will suit recent Naas winner Rush Queen. The versatile STORM MIAMI (NAP) gets the vote after a narrow and unlucky defeat in a Naas Listed last month. There is more to come from her.

16:05 – Unless

She has a bit to prove, but Goldana is one that will be well suited by possible soft ground. Layfayette has an obvious chance if he can bounce back, while the unexposed Knight To King could well be very capable at this level. Preference is for UNLESS who relished the step up in trip in a Listed last week and will be a tough nut to get past.

16:35 – Dawn Rising

With last year’s St Leger winner Eldar Eldarov now a non-runner and Library having a hard race in atrocious conditions at Cork on Friday night, this could cut up quite badly. DAWN RISING is a very strong stayer over this trip so he gets the vote to grind this out from the front. Joseph O’Brien is likely to hold the key as he also has Okita Soushi and Point King in there too.

 

17:05 – Tiktok Time

Wide open but it could pay to take a chance on the still relatively unexposed three year old TIKTOK TIME, who made up lots of late ground from an unfavourable position here last weekend and has a potentially favourable low draw. Dangers include Nordic Passage, Teddy Boy and Redshore City.

17:35 – Everylittlestep

Such is the form she’s in, EVERYLITTLESTEP looked better than ever at Gowran on Wednesday and there must be a strong chance she can defy her penalty here and complete a four-timer. Rock Etoile looks a big danger though back at his optimum trip, while the consistent Sondheim should again run his race.
