BOILING POINT is a well-bred colt who shaped with plenty of promise when runner-up on his debut over seven furlongs at this course last month, just needing the experience a bit more than the winner, who admittedly looked a smart prospect. Boiling Point is bred to appreciate this step up to a mile and he is well up to winning a race of this nature. He gets the vote over Thyer and A La Noche, who are both capable of a lot better also.

15:15 – KINGSWOOD FLYER

KINGSWOOD FLYER has progressed with each run so far and made more impact than previously when runner-up over six furlongs at Salisbury last month, finding it a little easier to lay up with the pace over a longer trip. The winner that day was a well-backed, well-bred colt for powerful connections, and Kingswood Flyer remains with plenty of potential now entering handicaps for the first time. Invincible Tiger and Mariamne also have the form to figure.

15:45 – MIAHARRIS

This looks a good listed event but MIAHARRIS created an excellent impression when making a winning debut at Sandown last month and is just the type who will go on to better things. Her sales price more than tripled at the breeze-ups earlier this year and she looked a smart prospect as she quickened clear in the closing stages. There should be any amount of improvement in her now and she can take this step up in class in her stride. Majestic Beauty faces a quick turnaround but remains one to be positive about, with Lady Pink Rose and Indispensable others to consider.

16:20 – HALLA DUBAI

Steadily progressive in novice company, HALLA DUBAI possibly found his early exuberance blunting his finishing effort when fourth on handicap debut over a mile at Goodwood in June. Returning from 56 days off with his yard in good form, he’s well worth another chance to prove his mark a workable one partnered by Oisin Murphy. Captain Cuddles, following his good Ascot third, and Be Prepared are others to consider.
