17:40 – Fakhama

Glencalvie and Hard Act To Follow both ran with credit last time, but this looks to be between Shining Jewel and FAKHAMA. The former is bred to handle the surface, but the latter was thought good enough to tackle Listed company last time and wasn’t disgraced. She gets the vote.

18:15 – Monaadhil

Thomas Equinas did it well when beating MONAADHIL over 7f here last time, but the latter is taken to reverse the placings on 5lb better terms over this longer trip. C&D winners Chagall and Simply Gorgeous look best of the rest.

18:45 – Greatgadian

There may still be better to come from the lightly raced Wonder Legend while Crystal Delight and Paris Lights are worth keeping an eye on back on the AW. However, the vote goes to dual C&D winner GREATGADIAN who returns to the AW off an inviting mark. A market check is advised with the reappearing pair Diamond Ranger and Return To Dubai.

19:15 – Mayfair Gold (NAP)

The unexposed Moonspirit looks interesting on handicap debut being related to several AW winners, while C&D winner Tahasun is likely to go well given that she looks much better on the AW than on turf. Hey Lyla shouldn’t have a problem with the longer trip on breeding and is another to consider, but MAYFAIR GOLD (nap) holds particularly solid claims. Her record over C&D reads 212 and her latest second could hardly be working out better with the first and third having gone in since.

19:45 – Storm Melody

The return to this level makes One For The Ladies interesting having won a similar contest at Wolverhampton last month, but preference is for the veteran STORM MELODY who drops to this level for the first time on his 97th outing. He is usually seen over 5f these days, but has plenty of form over this trip.

20:15 – Speed Dial Baileys

Autumnal Breeze looked to be getting her eye in for her new yard at Ayr and has more going for her than most if getting away sharply but SPEED DIAL BAILEYS looked a potential improver on the AW when winning at Wolverhampton and gets the vote. Profitable Dawn may be best of the remainder.
