18:10 – Impressor

Top of the list is the resurgent 6yo IMPRESSOR, who has won in cheekpieces in three of his last four starts including in the mud here nine days ago. He remains well handicapped on his old form and is a major player back in trip. The main danger is Borough, who has had a win and close call in his last two runs and is open to more progress.

18:40 – Emu War

There’s probably a fair bit of scope for improvement from She’Sashambles but Chumbaa hasn’t been able to step up on some solid efforts in defeat. The suggestion is EMU WAR, who showed some ability on her first start and should improve with her pedigree suggesting she should be able to act on soft ground. Of the newcomers, Adaay With Michael makes the most appeal on pedigree, while Gone Rogue can probably acquit himself well.

19:10 – Mistress Light

Dreams Adozen just about sets the standard here but remains vulnerable to an improver and the suggestion is MISTRESS LIGHT. The William Haggas-trained filly showed up well for a long way on debut and should be capable of a fair bit better than that, especially now going further. Weigh Anchor could be her biggest danger.

19:40 – Dubawi Warrior

The dark one is handicap debutant DUBAWI WARRIOR, one of two runners on the card for William Haggas who operates at about a 30% strike-rate here. Reportedly a slow learner, there were signs of what he might become when winning as he liked at Pontefract. Gainsbourg has clicked in blinkers and could be the danger if seeing out this trip, while Cockalorum can go well.

20:10 – William Dewhirst (NAP)

Slainte Mhath is always a force to be reckoned with here and she holds fellow solid course performer Iris Dancer on their latest clash. However, WILLIAM DEWHIRST (nap) got himself on the back foot last time at Doncaster but finished his race out well and this stiffer finish should suit him well.

20:40 – Aighear

This looks best left to AIGHEAR who ticks several boxes, including form at the track and on soft ground, as well as arriving on the back of a positive performance. Blazer Two could emerge as the biggest danger to the selection, while Zephlyn is another who can’t be written off.
