ZABBIE produced a career-best effort when a comprehensive winner over course and distance last week, drawing three and a quarter lengths clear under a tactically astute ride. Zabbie seemed to relish the testing conditions on that occasion, though her only previous success came on ground considered good to firm by Timeform so she’s versatile regarding conditions. She has a 5 lb higher mark to cope with here but is clearly in good order and ought to launch another bold bid.
17:45 – Hot Fashion
HOT FASHION boasts an excellent pedigree – she’s closely related to Group 1 winner Arabian Queen – and she shaped with plenty of encouragement when runner-up on debut at Newbury last month. She was unable to match the promising winner’s late surge but she kept on nicely and ought to benefit from the experience. That is just about the pick of the form on offer and, with further improvement expected, she stands out as the one to beat.
18:15 – Premiere Beauty
PREMIERE BEAUTY has been disappointing the last twice but she has been given a chance by the handicapper and takes a marked drop in grade here. Premiere Beauty had shaped well when third from a 4lb higher mark on her reappearance and handicap debut at Haydock in May and, still with relatively few miles on the clock, could be worth chancing.
18:45 – Wonderwall
WONDERWALL is a useful jumper and he has run well on both starts on the Flat this summer, finishing runner-up at Pontefract last month and filling the same position at Doncaster last week. Those efforts came over a mile and a quarter and, given his exploits over jumps, he should be well suited by stepping up in trip here. His stamina could give him the edge over Humanity.

19:15 – Denis Anthony
DENIS ANTHONY has been in good order of late and another bold bid looks likely here. He found only one too good at Lingfield and Yarmouth, bumping into a subsequent winner on each occasion, and then gained a deserved success at Ffos Las on his penultimate start. He arguably produced an even better effort in defeat when a close-up third at Epsom last month, giving way only late on, and he looks well treated off the same mark here.
19:45 – Beach Kitty
BEACH KITTY is a half-sister to three winners, including the smart Sir Busker, and she offered plenty to work on when down the field on her debut at Haydock in May. Inexperience held her back – she was slowly into stride and raced with little fluency – but she made good headway as the penny began to drop, catching the eye. She has failed to build on that promise in two subsequent starts but goes handicapping from a potentially lenient mark and looks worth siding with.
