Willie Mullins has declared three in the opener and two of them are French imports. Paul Townend has opted for one of those, NINTH TITAN who wears a hood for the first time while Olympic Man has been with us quite a while but is only making his debut now as a six-year-old.
Rath Gaul Boy has more experience but was no match for Champion Bumper winner A Dream To Share at the Punchestown Festival, having run him a little closer before that at Tipperary last year. Paul looks to be on the right one but Ninth Titan will have to settle and Olympic Man is no back number
Team Mullins have seven declared for the 2m 6f handicap hurdle and Power of Pause is the choice of Paul Townend. FOVEROS ran really well at the Curragh and has course form. He’s my idea of Willie’s best chance and looks a fair each-way chance.
THE TWELVE PINS is Willie’s sole entry in the final bumper and works well at home. She was only a neck second to This Songisforyou at this venue last year and can hopefully make amends in Saturday’s finale.
