13:50 – Temporize

I like Temporize for Syd Hosie and Luke Morris. Syd has owned horses for a while and now he’s training on his own. Temporize was a promising three-year-old last season and he comes into this on the back of his impressive second in a handicap behind Blazeon Five at Ascot. That form is decent and he’s well handicapped.

14:25 – Nostrum

This is good placing for Nostrum by Sir Michael Stoute. He was really impressive in the Sir Henry Cecil Stakes last time out and the only doubt is about the ground. Nostrum is the class horse.

15:00 – Lattam

You want to side with a runner with a low draw. Lattam hasn’t been harshly treated by the handicapper and he’s got decent form. He wants a bit of dig in the ground and he should get that. This race suits him perfectly.

15:35 – Silky Wilkie

Highfield Princess is going to be hard to beat but she’s made other runners attractive each-way options. I like Silky Wilkie, who will love this track and trip. I’ve been with him on and off this season. He’s got solid form and he’s all speed. He can get away from most of these mid-race and hang on for at least a place.
