The standard is set by TARTARAGHAN who improved plenty from her debut to finish runner-up last time and she may have won that contest without a stumble in the final furlong. Miss Alaska looks the most interesting of the newcomers and is worth a check in the market.
13:25 – AT LONG LAST
Recent course winner The Fog Horn warrants respect back here but slight preference is for AT LONG LAST who should appreciate the recent rain that arrived and may get back on track. Designer Cailin is still a maiden but has been running well in defeat in recent starts and Hell Left Loose is another for the shortlist after a respectable return run.
13:55 – HOPE AND INNOCENCE
Last-time-out winners Golden Days and Manhattan Dandy should remain competitive from their revised marks but preference is for HOPE AND INNOCENCE who wasn’t beaten far on handicap debut last time and she is far less exposed than most of these.
14:30 – GOLDANA
This can go the way of GOLDANA who was a Group 3 winner earlier in the campaign and while she carries a penalty for that success, she could be hard to beat with a reproduction of that level of form back on ground she will relish. Jackie Oh and Village Voice are closely matched on form and are the pick of the three-year-olds in this contest but the unexposed Moon De Vega could be the main danger in her bid for a hat-trick

15:02 – DUMB LOVE
It was in a stronger maiden than this one that DUMB LOVE made her debut at Killarney. She may be good enough to account for the 74-rated Beauty Bella who handles soft ground and has been fairly reliable without showing evidence of progress. Lady Lunette, who went very close off 72 in a Limerick handicap five weeks ago, should also be in the mix.
15:32 – FOOLS GLORY
The locally-trained FOOLS GLORY (nap) is suited by soft ground and was able to bounce back from a moderate Tipperary run to finish second at Killarney. She has plenty going for her now, but could be tested by Machnamh who makes her handicap debut with her confidence boosted by a maiden win at the Curragh. The unexposed Green Sky is likely to make her presence felt if handling the ground.
16:05 – LUCKY QUEEN
On the receiving end of unstylish riding at Killarney last week, LUCKY QUEEN nonetheless managed to reveal a significant return to form. She acts well on soft ground and may deny Mr Mills who has gone up 8lb for a Navan win. Game Nation deserves respect after his second on the same Navan card.
16:40 – HELVIC DREAM
In giving the vote to the 2021 Tattersalls Gold Cup winner HELVIC DREAM, one has to overcome a serious reservation based on subsequent form. He is suited by very soft ground, while that may not be true of the obvious danger Didn’thavemuchtodo who has looked very much at home on a sound surface. Londoner needs to raise his game but is not out of it.
