Obee Jo was a winner for us two starts back looks set for another big run here. Drops in class and loves it round here with four course wins already and everything to suit today with a nice pace surely to be set for him to latch on to and pick up late on. Still on a good mark and a good draw in stall 1 should see him right in the mix here.
15:40 Bath – Concierge
1.5 points each way
Concierge has been running to a decent level this season without actually getting his head in front and had plenty of excuses last time out but comes here today on a very attractive mark and drops in class. Has run well on softer ground previously in some races where the form has worked out really well, and has run once here at Bath which resulted in a win. With a good apprentice 5lb claimer in Connor Planas in the saddle he’s got a good chance.
16:15 Bath – Under Curfew
1.5 points each way
Under Curfew is a previous course and distance winner of a mark of 67 and gets in here on a mark of 60 so looks well handicapped on his old form. Had two good 2nds before his run last time out when reported to of bled from the nose. He has been given a little break since then to get him right for this and is a very dangerous player if he’s back in form here off a very good mark.
