Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

16:15 Ayr – See My Baby Jive (The Times)

Plenty have possibilities but the vote goes to SEE MY BABY JIVE, who has battled well to score over C&D in her last two starts and still looks feasibly treated under another penalty. The Caltonian went close on his handicap debut here last month and he’s feared most ahead of recent Carlisle winner Gentle Ellen and last month’s Newcastle scorer Muddy Lynn. Chookie Dunedin looks interesting back up in trip on his stable debut, while another to consider is Earn Your Stripes, who has run well behind the selection in her last two starts.

16:50 Ayr – Darbucks (The Sun)

Top of the list is DARBUCKS, who was only just caught by Jkr Cobbler over C&D last Monday and may well be able to turn the tables with his old rival on these revised terms. Asmund has finished placed in his last two runs and should give it another good shot, while another to keep an eye on is the unexposed 3yo Bride Tree, who was an eyecatcher at Fairyhouse on her recent stable debut.

17:55 Beverley – Half Moon Rising (Racing Post)

With no soft-ground form to assess this is tricky. HALF MOON RISING was quite eyecatching at Doncaster given how strong a hold he took for the most part of that race and he’s interesting back over 5f. Hint Of The Jungle is second choice after he too overcame adversity to finish fifth at Windsor, while Mecca’s Duchess and Tan Rapido can also go well. Haumea and Airman need checking in the market.

18:30 Beverley – High Opinion (Daily Mail)

It makes sense to focus on those proven on soft ground and HIGH OPINION arrives here after a solid effort at Catterick last week. John Kirkup is struggling to get his head back in front but has been threatening and he’s next best followed by Impressor.
