If Dicey Rielly can transfer her improved hurdle form she’ll take some beating but preference is for the consistent PRINCESS MIDNIGHT, who should again give supporters a good run for their money. Callin Baton Rouge is also of interest.
18:10 – CHARLIE MY BOY
This may well come down to whom out of Rock The House, Galata Bridge (next best), Allihies and CHARLIE MY BOY proves best able to defy their respective career-high marks. By virtue of being the most demonstrably progressive of those named, having posted a new personal best RPR on each of his last four outings, Keiran Burke’s gelding gets the nod, for all that his late hanging may give his backers a moment’s worry.
18:45 – GAMBIE TIEP
Both of GAMBIE TIEP’s recent wins have come on soft ground but he’s effective on quicker so it looks to be a case of whether a third race in nine days will find him out. If not, he should complete the hat-trick with Turpin Gold the chief danger.

19:20 – ZAMOND
The 4lb rise for his latest win won’t stop Zucayan if he reproduces that effort but preference is for ZAMOND. He didn’t run well at Cartmel last time but has plenty of decent form off this sort of mark
19:50 – TEECEETHREE
In the hope that stepping up in trip will bring out some improvement, TEECEETHREE is selected. Clapton Hill is next best while Flat stayer Flying Standard could stake a claim on his hurdling debut.
20:25 – ACHNAMARA
Several of these have fair claims, among them Nowyouvebinandunit (second choice), Genever Dragon and Jacks Orchard. There are doubts about what ability remains with ACHNAMARA but he starts his handicap hurdle career on too tasty a mark to ignore.
20:55 – BLUEBELLA
No Way Pedro should go close on his hat-trick bid but the progressive BLUEBELLA (nap) can continue her steady improvement and gain a second success.
