SOME NIGHTMARE is a three time winner here at Chepstow and the undulating course does lend itself to course specialists which Some Nightmare is. Finished very well last time out over six furlings here and the drop back to five looks sure to suit. That was his fourth run after seven months off so he’s going to be reaching peak fitness now and today could be the day he’s back in the winners enclosure.

15:35 – Chepstow – On Edge

1.5 points each-way

ON EDGE is another horse who has an excellent record here with two wins and a place from four runs. The undulating track clearly gets the best out of him. He won here on his second start after a break and should still be progressive enough to go in again here. Ground should hold no issues and over six furlongs again should see him go very close.

16:05 – Chepstow – Fact Or Fable

1.5 points each-way

FACT OR FABLE yet another course and distance winner off a mark of 49 which was under today’s jockey in June and races off 51 today. Beat the re-opposing Deacs Delight over a mile in the race after that but struggled when dropped in trip to the extended five furlongs at Bath in the race following that. Raced over a mile at Bath last time out and this drop in trip should suit.
