14:30 Chepstow – Some Nightmare (Tipman)

SOME NIGHTMARE probably acts on any ground and is 3-9 at Chepstow. Close second over 6f here last month, running right up to his best despite a tardy start. Effective at 5f and has clear possibilities granted a cleaner break.

16:25 Hamilton – Bryce (Farringdon)

BRYCE is 0-11 but went very close in first-time cheekpieces at Ripon (6f, good) last Monday and has run well on soft ground in the past. Major player if the retained headgear maintains its effect.

16:40 Chepstow – Queensland Boy (On The Nose)

QUEENSLAND BOY is 0-4 but made a promising handicap debut at Leicester (1m2f, good) three weeks ago, staying on for close sixth. Likely to build on that effort and looks interesting off the same mark.

17:25 Leicester – Barleybrown (Jason Heavey)

BARLEYBROWN was never involved on 7f handicap debut/reappearance but slightly better signs when third of eight at Chepstow (6f, good to soft) last week, rallying after getting outpaced. The return to 7f looks the right move.
