Gelded since failing to justify even-money favouritism on his seasonal debut, the 82-rated SIMPSON’S PARADOX may recover losses in a likely showdown with Genuine Article who showed promise on his only start last season. Signatory shaped well on his debut at Dundalk before a lesser effort at this venue. It might be premature to write off Sorrento Point.

18:20 – MEA DOMINA

Only two of these boast an official rating in three figures, and both merely scrape into that category with a mark of 100. One of them is MEA DOMINA (nap), a French import who looks worthy of her mark on the basis of early-season form. She may prove too good for the identically-rated Indian Wish, whose year-younger stablemate Zoinnocent is respected. Eternal Silence and Unless are also of some interest.

18:50 – EVERYLITTLESTEP

There could be better to come from narrow Leopardstown winner EVERYLITTLESTEP who needs to be held up for as long as possible and can benefit from Colin Keane’s handling for a second time. Linger For Longer is respected after three consecutive placed efforts but may gain have to settle for minor money. Boomerang Bill shaped with some promise on his seasonal debut. Pimstrel is capable of running well when fresh.

19:20 – GOLDEN FRECKLE

A good bit of collateral form here and perhaps GOLDEN FRECKLE can reverse recent Limerick form with Purring Along, the selection getting anything but a clear run that day on what was her handicap debut. Pallasmore Lass and Barnhill Rose are closely matched on recent Roscommon form and look obvious dangers.

19:50 – FOLLY BEACH

Plenty with chances on recent form. FOLLY BEACH came home well at Tipperary and with Colin Keane now taking over gets the vote ahead of Hello Power and Romann.

20:20 – BELGOPRINCE

Recent Tipperary winner BELGOPRINCE should appreciate this extra two furlongs and gets the vote ahead of Londonofficecallin and the less exposed pair, Fire Coral and Master Dunraven.
