18:25 – Out Of Sight

Ivy Avenue and Beryl Burton (second choice) are solid candidates, while Enzos Angel, Honky Tonk Town and Star For A Day need monitoring for market confidence. OUT OF SIGHT battled well to win at Beverley last month though and he can defy his small rise in the weights.

18:55 – Rockinthefreeworld

A host of possible improvers are on show. Coastal Sunrise, Charlie Mason, Tiora and Ocean Sound fit that bill but so does ROCKINTHEFREEWORLD and he may be able to exploit a lowly mark now he’s upped in trip and facing ground that should suit. Chat Up Line shaped well at Pontefract last week and is feared most.

19:30 – Fierce

Darkened Edge could take a big step forward from her debut effort and reverse those placings with Flying Kiss and Moonlight Dreamer but the two to focus on look to be Tuki Tuki and FIERCE. The latter has several solid handicap runs to his name and this could be the day he sheds his maiden tag.

20:00 – Saaheq

Fortunate Star was impressive over C&D when last seen in May and he’s a contender despite a hefty whack up the weights. Refuge, Dream By Day and Strong Johnson (second choice) have something to recommend them but SAAHEQ is right back in the groove for his current yard and he can put his younger rivals to the sword.

20:30 – Higher Law (NAP)

Dandys Derriere remains of interest at sprint trips but HIGHER LAW (nap) looks the one to be with. He didn’t see much daylight on his stable debut at Doncaster 18 days ago but finished on the heels of the winner and still has potential after just five starts. Of the remainder, a revival from Brother Sebastian wouldn’t be a bolt from the blue.

21:00 – Classic Speed

A few of these need to bounce back from a quiet run, notably Lion’s Dream, Dandy Maestro, Star Zinc and Jack Daniel, but all four have something to recommend them. This may be best left to one of the 3yos, though, and CLASSIC SPEED is preferred to Calypso. Although the selection hasn’t built on his promising debut effort, he’s been gelded since last seen and still brings potential.
