17:15 – NAVASSA ISLAND

An interesting maiden. Brilliant could be capable of above average improvement from her Cork debut, while newcomers such as Bellezza and With Style with Group 1 entries are of obvious interest. Despite her Albany failure last time, the form of her unlucky Group 3 defeat at Naas makes NAVASSA ISLAND hard to overlook in a maiden and she will be very hard to beat.

17:45 – ARTEMIS JONES

Interesting contest with a few of these coming here in form. Saturn Seven can build on her win at Limerick, while Encosta is very much of interest coming back in trip. Kings Time has been gelded since his Fairyhouse disappointment, but the one to beat could be the progressive ARTEMIS JONES in her first handicap after a decisive maiden win at Limerick.

18:15 – THEFULLBACKLINE

Not many coming here in form. Top-weight Coins Cross could make a bold showing, while Emeric could be capable of better still and the stable are in fine form. Helpmeout went close here last month and can do so again, but a sporting selection goes to THEFULLBACKLINE who ran much better than his finishing position last time and has the aid of cheekpieces here.

18:50 – RAMPAGE

Several with a good record over C&D including RAMPAGE who has been doing little wrong and may get his turn. Complete Fiction and Vidala are others on the shortlist.

19:25 – ALANYA

A quality handicap and chances can be given to most of them. Lan Cinnte is an improver who could relish the step up in trip. Others such as the in-form Overheer and the unexposed Zabeir also come into it. Coeur D’or has been given a chance by the handicapper in only going up 10lb for a C&D win last month, while Good Too could be anything in this company. The selection is ALANYA(nap), up 8lb for bolting up in the Ladies Derby on her Irish debut and chances are that there is much more to come.

20:00 – LIBRARY

Game in victory over 1m2f at Naas, LIBRARY seems to be on an upward curve and, although her stamina for this trip has to be taken on trust, gets the vote to see off proven stayer Divine Jewel.

20:30 – JESSE EVANS

With the benefit of last week’s return at Bellewstown under his belt and back over a more suitable trip, JESSE EVANS is the selection. Tax For Max is most likely nowhere near a 100-rated Flat horse these days and Almuhit and Female Soldier may pose a greater threat.
