PLATINUM GIRL has been running well this year placing in all five runs with two wins. She has been running well from the front and similar tactics can be applied today. Softer ground will pose no problems and she’s been dropped 2lbs since coming third at Carlisle last time, so it still weighted to win. She’s still progressing nicely and can go in again now back down in grade.

17:10 – Catterick – Key Look

1.5 points each-way

KEY LOOK hasn’t been hitting the levels of last year yet but there is plenty to like about his chances back at a venue he has a good record at with two wins from his seven starts. He looks to be on a good mark and there’s pace to aim at in Agonyclite. It would be no surprise for him to bounce back to form.

19:30 – Kempton – Wholeofthemoon

1.5 points each-way

WHOLEOFTHEMOON runs for the red-hot stable of Richard Hughes has a great chance to keep the yard’s form going. This unexposed four-year-old who has shown plenty of ability already and now returns to the all-weather surface which has seen a lot of his best work so far. He’s raced here twice, winning once and placing on the other start. This is a step up in class but it doesn’t look particularly strong and he receives weight from the older horses,. He should go very close.
