14:40 – Tenhotfourcrazy
Tenhotfourcrazy is a half-sister to three winners, including a useful sort in Top Breeze, and she shaped with promise when runner-up on debut at Bath a couple of weeks ago. Tenhotfourcrazy looked green but she travelled well and threw down a strong challenge, only just failing to overhaul the odds-on favourite. She is entitled to progress from that and should go well from a handy draw.
15:10 – Bazball
Bazball went with more zest than previously when fitted with a first-time visor in the Rous Seller at York last time, but she failed to see things out after travelling best and looking like she had made a decisive move. That was her first attempt at six furlongs so was perhaps stretched by the trip and she looks the one to side with back down to the minimum distance on her nursery debut.
15:40 – Platinum Girl
Platinum Girl has shown improved form this season and registered her second success of the campaign when making all at Carlisle on her penultimate start. She ran respectably when third under a penalty at the same venue a couple of weeks ago and is expected to launch a bold bid off a 2 lb lower mark here.
16:10 – Cold Henry
Cold Henry progressed well when upped in trip towards the end of last season, registering back-to-back course-and-distance victories. He is still searching for a first win this term but has raised his form another notch and posted his best effort yet when runner-up behind an in-form rival in a Sunday Series Handicap at Pontefract last month, pulling well clear of the third. He drops in class here and can gain a deserved success.

16:40 – Barrolo
Barrolo, who had been gelded prior to his return, proved a different proposition when upped in trip on his reappearance/handicap debut at Ripon last month, justifying support to score with plenty in hand. Barrolo had to share the spoils back at Ripon last time but deserves plenty of credit for how well he rallied after being headed inside the final furlong, pulling four lengths clear of the third in the process. He still looks well treated after edging up only 3 lb in the weights and can bring up the hat-trick.
17:10 – Magical Effect
Magical Effect is still searching for a first win this season but he produced his best effort of the campaign when runner-up at Thirsk last week, keeping on well to be nearest at the finish. He is 1 lb below his last winning mark, so is clearly competitively treated, and he also has a course-and-distance win on his record.
17:45 – Liberty Breeze
Liberty Breeze landed a gamble to notch a third course-and-distance success here last month and holds obvious claims here off just a 3 lb higher mark. She was a creditable runner-up over course and distance on her penultimate start and is clearly in good heart at present which is an obvious positive in a contest where plenty have something to prove.
