14:00 – Shajak

Only two of these count in all likelihood. Dark Note is likely to give his running and should go close, but SHAJAK was a Flat winner and Listed placed and should improve enough from his Killarney debut to land this.

14:35 – Bukhill

A weak race but quite an open one. Mac’s Xpress has the rating to be involved, but this is likely to concern two of Peter Fahey’s three runners. Artemis Angel is respected if she can put her failure last month behind her, but preference is for her stable companion BUKHILL who ran well for this rider at Punchestown last time and can come on for that.

15:10 – Red Ball Of Fire (NAP)

Two unexposed but talented sorts at the top of the handicap in Eve Moneypenny and We Got This add some real spice to this contest. Preference is for RED BALL OF FIRE (NAP) who always runs well here and comes here on the back of a good second at Listowel last month.

15:45 – Staging Post

A tight contest. Claiming hurdle winner Bigz Belief and consistent performer Willyouwalkwithme both make plenty of appeal. Pont Audemer should go well despite the handicapper putting him up again, as should Warm In Gorey after his Punchestown win. A good afternoon for Mark McNiff could be continued by STAGING POST after a good run here last time and with a top claimer booked.

    16:20 – Natural Breeze

Having run a creditable race on return at Downpatrick last time, NATURAL BREEZE should have improved enough from that to score. Bidentime also made an encouraging comeback and can run a big race. Macs Lady, Attitash and Corkbeg have questions to answer after last time but are considered all the same.

    16:55 – Iridescent

This is competitive but IRIDESCENT is on a steep upward curve, with chase and hurdle wins on last two starts, so can score again. Townhill Penny had an excuse for last time and can bounce back, while Menindee was unlucky over fences last time and is better treated over hurdles. Recent winners Ballyglass Beauty, Gotthenod and Mister Twist are all respected.

    17:30 – Givago

The way Willie Mullins is moppng up in bumpers lately makes it difficult to oppose the well-bred GIVAGO. The yard has a line on main danger Arabian Diamond, as he has been runner-up to their representatives the last twice. Mont Beuvray and Lake Winnipesaukee have the ability to run well.
