Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:40 Haydock – Candy Shack (The Sun)
The first-time hood could be a big positive for CANDY SHACK and this lightly raced 4yo earns the vote in the hope she settles better. William Buick’s mount Typical Woman has run well in defeat the last twice and is second choice ahead of last year’s winner Arctic Fox. The unexposed Ready To Shine could play a leading role if conditions suit (well beaten on soft ground last time), while two-time bumper winner Lady Excalibur is an interesting contender on her handicap debut.
15:30 Yarmouth – Corporate Raider (The Times)
Granted another uncontested lead, CORPORATE RAIDER may be capable of following up his C&D success. He’s unexposed as a front-runner and in blinkers. Zafaan, another last-time-out scorer, is the suggested second choice ahead of Barney’s Angel who may improve for the new trip. Lost In Time has possibilities if backing up his latest effort, while Dark Gold looks a likely improver if coping with the stalls.
16:50 Perth – Malangen (Daily Record)
Bobby Socks is the obvious answer having escaped a penalty for his Southwell win, but as good ground seems ideal for him, the weather needs watching. MALANGEN could go around here with his eyes shut and career win number nine is a possibility. Not that the other two are dismissed lightly.
17:20 Haydock – Wheres Freddy (Telegraph)
The attractively bred WHERE’S FREDDY has potential off his opening mark and gets the nod ahead of Dee See Are, who was a good third at Ayr last time in first-time cheekpieces. Slippin Jimmy has run some good races this season, while Juryman will be of interest if the ground is on the slow side of good.
