Given her promising debut effort, INDICATION SPIRIT is the suggestion. Chumbaa (second choice) has achieved a similar level and should be competitive again, while Grecian Princess has shown enough to suggest that she could be a player if putting her latest effort behind her.
15:05 – Spanish Hustle
A weak contest and one in which SPANISH HUSTLE (nap) looks capable of backing up his Hamilton win and defying a 3lb rise now he’s upped again in trip. A repeat of Spirit Of Ash’s latest effort would give the selection something to think about, while Kells and Tafsir are others who could make their presence felt.
15:35 – Autumn Festival
The front-runner AUTUMN FESTIVAL has been well beaten the last twice but this race is much less competitive and there is a good chance he will enjoy an uncontested lead. He earns the vote ahead of last year’s winner On A Session, while Gioia Cieca and Manigordo are also suited by this track.

16:05 – Ayr Poet
An open contest in which Jim Goldie is mob handed and one of his runners, AYR POET, is of greatest interest. His reappearance effort was encouraging, this extra furlong looks positive and he looks capable of winning again from this mark. How Bizarre is accorded the greatest respect, given his course record, while Chinese Spirit, Tacitus and Shine On Brendan are others of interest.
16:42 – Rock Melody
Musselburgh has brought out the best in ROCK MELODY since she joined Jim Goldie and she is selected to follow up her recent C&D win. Glory Fighter made all in good style at Catterick last time in first-time cheekpieces and is open to further improvement in the retained headgear. Black Friday’s claims will be enhanced if the ground is on the slow side of good.
17:15 – Golden Prosperity
This could be a good opportunity for recent Ripon runner-up GOLDEN PROSPERITY to post his first win. Bonito Cavalo flopped last time but is a strong candidate on his earlier form, while Gullane One and Tantastic could also run well.
