Thirsk 15:45 – Made Of Lir
Got off the mark lst time out in a Class 6 handicap and has managed to remain on the same mark so looks very nicely handicapped. He was quite impressive after being detached from the field and then came through nicely to win. Made of Lir has a good draw here in box 10 and can put another win on the board. The Same England yard is in decent form and rising star Connor Planas’ 5lb claim could be the difference.

Thirsk 17:20 – Rock Of England
Rock Of England won very easily two starts back and confirmed that form on his next start when a very good second under a penalty. He still looks well handicapped and is definitely still improving. Jockey Ben Curtis is booked, he’s 1/1 at the track and is one of the least exposed in this field.

Musselburgh 16:05 – Shine On Brendan
Shine On Brendan is just 1lb above his last winning mark and has been running to a consistent level lately without getting his head in front. He now drops back from Class 4 company (when third at Beverley last time out) into Class 6 company now. He’s well handicapped, has a course and distance win and the Jim Goldie / Clifford Lee combo do well here. Big chance.
