14:25 Brighton – Darvel (Farringdon)

DARVEL didn’t look to see out 1m1f last time and this is a bit easier, having since been dropped 2lb (now 4lb lower than when winning over C&D last autumn).

16:17 Hamilton – Water Of Leith (Tipman)

Last season’s three turf wins came on good or faster. WATER OF LEITH’S recent efforts have been encouraging and he’ll be a danger to all if it dries out a bit.

18:10 Straftord – Callin Baton Rouge (Lawrence Taylor)

CALLIN BATON ROUGE joined Warren Greatrex after going close on Irish point debut in February. Made an underwhelming start to rules career but was better when a 13l third at Cartmel (2m1f, good) a month ago and that form is up there in this company.

21:00 Ffos Las – Masterdream (Melissa Jones)

MASTERDREAM is a three-time hurdles winner. 0-9 on Flat but ran creditably at Bath (2m1f, firm) most recently and may take advantage of this drop in class.
