Getaway Jewel looks sure to run well but chasing newcomer JET OF DREAMS is surely capable of better than he’s so far shown.

15:00 – Cast A Spell

Having shown improved form on her second Irish start, CAST A SPELL might be good enough to win on her British debut, principally at the expense of Gladys Eva Jane.

The Galahad Kid bids for a five-timer on his hurdling debut and may prove hard to beat but there isn’t a great deal of depth to his form. ABSOLUTE RULER is no superstar but he looks sure to run well and that might prove good enough.

16:00 – Clody Flyer

One or two of these could burst back into life but the obvious pair are No Recollection, who scored in good style at Worcester, and CLODY FLYER, who doesn’t look overburdened on his handicap debut.

16:30 – Broomfields Cave (NAP)

Several of these can be considered but the relatively unexposed BROOMFIELDS CAVE (nap) makes most appeal. Kym Eyre is feared most with Ernesto next on the list.

17:00 – Bobby Socks

There’s every chance that Ivetwiggedit could resume her winning habit after a break and this trip certainly shouldn’t be beyond her. She is 7lb above her highest winning mark though so perhaps BOBBY SOCKS, who shaped well over 2m here this month, can gain a first hurdle success.
