I’m with Inspiral. I thought she was breathtaking at this meeting last year. It was her seasonal debut in the Coronation in 2022 and she’ll be fine on the straight course this year. She’s a very good filly and while I like Berkshire Shadow as well at a big price, I can’t see past Inspiral.
While River Tiber could bolt up, I’m happy to take him and Asadna on at the top of the market. I’m giving ArmyEthos a chance at a double-figure price after he bolted up at Ayr in May. I also like Haatem, who was unlucky at Epsom. He missed the break and lost against Bobsleigh but he can bounce back from that at a big price.
Highfield Princess heads the market but I’m going to take her on as she’s in stall 10 and I like Dramatised, who won the Queen Mary at last year’s Royal meeting. She won at Haydock last time out in May and she should be ready to go.
Chaldean did nothing wrong as a two-year-old and Paddington has prospered as a three-year-old. I was impressed with Paddington at the Curragh in the Irish 2,000 Guineas when he finished ahead of Cairo. I was with him that day and I’m with him again.
Bring On The Night picked up an injury a couple of weeks after Ascot last year and a few little things went against him but he’s back here in what could be perfect placement. He’s off a 4lb higher mark in the Ascot Stakes than last year. He’s in great form and hopefully he’ll bring his best. He’ll take a lot of beating but Weston is also worth keeping an eye on. He’s come from Germany and he’s off a good mark for Gordon Elliott with Colin Keane on board.
Saga and Bolshoi Ballet are in stalls three and one respectively and that isn’t a good draw at Ascot. I’m with King Of Conquest, who just keeps getting overlooked. He keeps winning and he’s out in stall 15 for William Buick and Charlie Appleby. He’s on for a five-timer!

Willie Mullins has Vauban and Absurde but the former will win. Vauban is my NAP of the day.
