Habitual slow starter who has gained nine of her ten wins on the all weather (AW), including twice over same course and distance (C&D); BIRD FOR LIFE likes to come late and needs a good pace to aim at, but despite the smallish field she might get it and is back off her last winning mark; a player if things pan out her way.

14:10 – Wolverhampton – Tequilamockingbird – Tipman Tips

TEQUILAMOCKINGBIRD has three wins on Polytrack (1m2f-1m3f) last year but she’s been well held on AW in her last two runs, the latest at Lingfield in April; drops back in grade off 2lb lower than for last win but she needs a major revival back on Tapeta.

 

19:35 – Windsor – Be Frank – Weekender

Beat a 33-1 outsider and a disappointing favourite in a 6f fast-ground maiden at Salisbury 23 days ago; it probably didn’t take a lot of winning but BE FRANK is in the right hands to progress in handicaps.

20:25 – Nottingham – Obee Jo – Liverpool Echo

OBEE JO kept on well from the rear for fifth when upped to 1m at Thirsk (good to firm) a fortnight ago and enters calculations.
