Jason Weaver’s Horse Racing Tips

14:00 – York – Yorkshire Lady
14:15 Sandown – Bodorgan
14:35 York – Snash (each-way)
14:50 Sandown – Tajalla
15:05 York – Israr
15:20 Chester – Tafreej
15:40 York – Dark Kestrel (each-way)

14:00 – York – Yorkshire Lady

It has taken the connections a little while, but YORKSHIRE LADY now steps up to what could prove her ideal distance well drawn to get a nice position. Early on from the inside our experienced rider should be able to produce her late in the day. The team are in form and she will love the ground.

14:15 Sandown – Bodorgan

BODORGAN was posted a little deep on the track throughout his last run at Haydock and did really well in the circumstances running against the bias of the way the track was riding.

He still managed to stick to his guns late on and granted a better passage around here today he’s going to be very competitive with the champion on board.

14:35 York – Snash (each-way)

This is a typical long sprint, competitive handicap and I can’t believe that SNASH is a whopping 33/1 at the time of writing (the latest live odds are on the betting widget below). He has now dropped to a mark that looks very attractive of just 81 and he has some strong track form to his name over this course and distance. I think he’s going to outrun his odds.

14:50 Sandown – Tajalla

TAJALLA is bidding to maintain his perfect 100% record, and did incredibly well to get past Silent Words at Hamilton, who had him boxed in until approaching the last furlong marker.

He possesses the correct attitude that we are looking for, and the stiff nature of this 5 furlongs will see him rattle home.

    15:05 York – Israr

    ISRAR is going to be towards the top of the market & his form is incredibly strong from last season, and his return effort was super over 1/4 mile shorter at Newbury, that’s the key point we have a good chunk of untapped potential. Now he steps up in distance.

    15:20 Chester – Tafreej

    It wasn’t so much of an unlucky run at Goodwood last time, more of a messy contest, where he got bumped around and stopped and started after being slowly away from a good starting position early on. TAFREEJ possesses a lot of upside having only his third career start this season and can gain an overdue success in 2023.

    15:40 York – Dark Kestrel (each-way)

    I did quite like the way DARK KESTREL strode away for a smooth success on his return at Doncaster, and obviously more was expected on his last try just 11 days ago at Lingfield when he finished a disappointing sixth, he’s got just a featherweight on his back for today’s assignment, and we obviously haven’t seen the best of him yet.
