15:00 York – Pink Crystal (PicksfromthePaddock)

PINK CRYSTAL won two minor handicaps last summer before her form really took off, starting with a good second in a 5f handicap here at the Ebor meeting. Ended 2022 with two placed efforts in Listed company. Should have more to come this year and she’s one to take seriously.

15:15 Sandown – Sweet Reward (The Guardian)

SEEET REWARD was a dual C&D winner in 2021, latterly in this race, and his best run last year was also over C&D. So nearly got back on the scoresheet at Newbury four weeks ago, which sees him go back up 5lb today but it looks like he will be seriously involved.

16:45 York – Mobashr (Jason Heavey)

MOBASHR is yet to find his best for this yard but he’s dropping down the weights and ran creditably over 1m on turf four weeks ago (hood back on, retained). Yard going well and he’s one to consider.

18:40 Goodwood – Military Two Step (Tipman)

MILITARY TWO STEP is 2lb lower than when successful at Chelmsford (2m, AW) last November, but recent efforts raise doubts over whether she can take advantage so she needs the first-time blinkers to help turn things around.
